Day of Leisure

Gail has decided we are going to take a day off.
It is a little cloudy this morning with a nice breeze from the east (ocean).  The last week we have had a breeze from the west.  During this time we had from 75 to 100 dragon flies circling around the outside of the condo.  Supposedly looking for mosquitoes, they showed up early morning and left and sunset.  I tried to take a picture but they didn’t show up
This morning on our beach walk there was a bird waiting to go fishing

and five more just relaxing on posts.  I guess they didn't think the fish were biting.

When we got back, Gail relaxed on our couch.

The frame of the couch, desk, and chair is made of concrete.  Not too comfortable which is why, I guess, there are so many pillows.  You can see the pull out queen size bed under the couch.  The conch shells on the ledge behind her we retrieved after the fisherman finished with them.  The painting is one I just finished that I call “Belize Beach Embrace”.
It is now dusk and time to think about supper--we are having lobster tail again--ho, hum.  Our neighbor invited us to Trivial Pursuit Night a the Road Kill Bar but I think we are going to pass.  She won $115 last week so she is definitely going back.  I think we are just going to stay here and watch Grey's Anatomy.
By the way, the TV company here pirates the signal from a satellite that serves Denver--at least this week--so all of our shows come on at Denver time.  That means we have to stay up an hour later.  Late to bed and late to rise ....
