Observations from Belize

-God created the human butt.  An atheist designed the bicycle seat.
-You don’t need nearly as much of anything as you think you do.
-I never imagined there were so many shades of blue.
-The extra hair you get on your shoulders as you grow older is there for protection since that is a spot you rarely put sun screen.
-An essential item for my wardrobe is a hat.
-SPF30 is your friend.
-A diet of fish and rice does not contain enough fiber—enough said.
-Sand is not dirt—your floor is not necessarily dirty just because it has sand on it.
-No matter how much they want to be, flies will never be your friends.
-Crystal clear water is good, even without Scotch in it.
-Transporting wine to this island is a much more expensive process than getting the local beer and rum here.
-A wheelbarrow with two wheels is much more stable than one with only a single wheel.
-It is a miracle that the world survived prior to satellites and computers.
-Being retired really can be easy.
-Every road you go down has bumps but you just keep pedaling and try to miss as many of them as you can.
-It’s easy to tell who is important to you—it’s everybody you think about and miss.
