Picnic

The other day ten of us went by boat to the north end of the island for a picnic.  On the way we stopped at three different spots to snorkel.  We had hired three guides who spent time snagging lobster, spearing fish, and gathering conch.  In fact, many of us snorkeling found a lot of the conch shells as well.
By the time we reached our picnic area we had caught quite a nice lunch.

Gail admired the many lobsters that had been snagged.

Some of the lobsters were pretty good size.
The guides cleaned the lobster, fish, and conch and even peeled some potatoes
.

They made a rum punch for everyone that actually included a couple bottles of beer.  They also made a salad and seasoned all of the catch and got it ready for the grill.
Once cooked, everyone had their fill.

Now this is what I call a picnic-especially in December.
